On 22.08.2024, DAGAP, the sustainable support company of Axfood and UNIL, a Norwegian company, visited the summer school opened within the scope of the Each Child a World program carried out by Durak Hazelnuts in İkizce District of Ordu. During the visit, Sustainable Practices Manager Vedat Macit and Academic Advisor Tuğba KONTAŞ AZAKLI made a short presentation about the sustainability studies being carried out. In the presentation, detailed information was given about the companies' environmental responsibilities, energy efficiency projects and social responsibility activities. After the visit, the classrooms were visited and they had the opportunity to determine which courses were taught on site. After the school visit, they visited the sample gardens and producer lands carried out within the scope of sustainable practices and had the opportunity to see the net laying and hazelnut picking practices on site.
