On August 21, TRT News, Turkey's news source, visited the summer school opened by Durak Hazelnuts for the children of seasonal agricultural worker families. During the visit, they had the opportunity to see first-hand the education provided at the school and listened to the children's opinions about the summer school. This summer school was opened with the aim of providing equal opportunities in education for the children of agricultural worker families. The children have the chance to reinforce their academic knowledge and gain new skills while engaging in various lessons and activities to spend their summer vacations more productively. TRT News team interviewed the children one-on-one and listened to their summer school experiences. The children talked about the contributions of the summer school and expressed that the new knowledge they learned and the friendships they made here made them very happy. Educators, on the other hand, emphasized that thanks to the summer school, children made great progress both socially and academically and that it is very important to continue such projects. It was once again demonstrated that such initiatives contribute to equal opportunities in education and enable the children of seasonal agricultural worker families to look to the future with more hope.
