Within the scope of the “Every Child is a World” Program, Improvement Works Were Carried Out in Three Accommodation Areas Used by Seasonal Agricultural Workers

As Durak Hazelnuts, we carried out field studies in order to support safer, healthier and more suitable living conditions in Şenbolluk, Düzpelit and Kurtköy areas, where seasonal agricultural workers and their families stay, within the scope of the "Every Child is a World" Program. In addition to building cleaning and painting works, maintenance and repairs of electrical and water installations were carried out in Şenbolluk Accommodation Area. Damaged doors, windows and glasses were renewed, making toilets safer and more useful. The torn perimeter wires in Düzpelit Accommodation Area were repaired; Damaged, bent and overturned poles were arranged. While environmental regulations were carried out for the gravel and construction debris on the ground, improvement works were carried out in the broken sections of the children's playground and those that pose a risk for safe use. In the recreation area around Kurtköy Accommodation Area, warning and information signs were placed at points where direct corrective action cannot be applied, in order to support the safety of seasonal agricultural workers and their families. As Durak Fındık, we prioritize improving the living conditions of seasonal agricultural workers, protecting children and accommodating families in safe environments; We continue to carry out our social responsibility activities in line with the needs determined in the field.
